I May Have an Acting Gig for Charo

I spotted Charo on the Joy Behar show earlier this week. I had not seen her in quite a while. She must have been very young back when she was a staple on Hollywood Squares because she still looked pretty good. Either that or a lot of young women have had to sacrifice their hair for her latest weave.

According to reports the Chilean miners are set to be lifted to safety very soon and if any of them have any business sense at all they will soon be signing a major movie deal. I pray to the gods of entertainment that they don't let Lifetime handle this one.

Out of 31 minors surely one of them had cuchi cuchi mama somewhere or perhaps even a cougar type lover. Playing one of them  could be Charo's big break back into the limelight. We all know how well she can act from her Love Boat days. Or perhaps she will just make a cameo playing her guitar at one of the many church services sure to be held in celebration for the end of the miners' ordeal that are sure to be included in the picture.

She even showed a picture of her son on Joy's show. He looks just like her. In fact it made me remember something I have always secretly believed about Charo; she might not be a woman after all but a very convincing drag queen.
